| We've been out of the loop for a while, as far as
showering relatives with baby pictures of Abigail.

picture chosen at random. gotta find if OS X has a preview feature for jpgs.

| hello again! Previous try didn't work out to well. Who are those kids?

Rascally rascal
| Recognize this shot? We went out to the pumpkin patch again for little cousin Joe's birthday party. They didn't get along too well.

Small sunflower. This time poking her head through on her own.
| Here she is chilling with the pumpkins. I don't know who's huge ass that is in the background.

Little pumpkin. Not so slumpy and sad this year.
You can get a good idea of how tiny she is. In the past month she has put on a growth spurt, and now towers at 31". The angelic glow you may notice is from fingerprints on the lens. That, and my strict regimen of flagelation.

Measuring up. The program says 2'9", but we know better.
| She decided to bolt, the better to keep the comp guessing.

So tiny!
| Don't worry, I didn't actually crush her with this huge cooler.

A bit concerned.

Abigail and momma decided to take a break from setting up halloween decorations. We tried hanging tha bats from our magnolia, but my crappy ribbon (actually wax-paper backing from weatherstripping) kept ripping. Instead, Kirsten recommended we use the bat suction cups to stick them to a window. It looked so spooky! We got two trick-or-treaters this year--one down from last year.
They seemed a bit embarrassed by the whole thing, but I was enthusuastic (despite their advanced years). Next year I'll pass out guiness to everyone who looks older than 12.

Weary soldiers.
