Listening During the Ceremony

About the Players As with everything I must put past the Finucane dot Org legal team, I will preface the following biography with a caveate. Rather than make an ass of myself trying to do them justice, I will go about doing so in my usual manner. Luckily, the Family Matson is easy to describe with pairs of offsetting adjectives.
  • Jeffery: Pianoforte. Brooding, yet alert, Jeffery is as quick with his temper as with his pistoles. Guests are cautioned.
  • Marty: 1st violin. The taskmaster; slow with his praise, but a fount of cutting remarks. Marty will lash out when approached suddenly. Do not raise his ire.
  • Jacob: 1st cello. Behind heavy-lidded eyes, Jacob plots vengence. Sultry in affect, he lures his prey with a treacherous leer. His vices are legendary.
  • Kate: 2nd violin. Kate plays second fiddle to no man, figuratively speaking. Although slender, she is wiry strong and has left many the unsuspecting victem writhing in agony. She dances the macabre waltz of deceit.
  • Elena: 2nd cello. Elena, on the other hand is gentle and unassuming. She is quiet as a churchmouse and a bit nervous. She will smile, but only after being entreated to do so. She expresses herself with reserve, speaking only when spoken to. She does not jump on the furniture, nor does she insert herself unbidden into the affairs of her elders.
  • The Selection for the Cermony The following list is a partial selection of music to glorify an otherwise seedy and forgettable affair. You may have heard some of these favorites at weddings past.

Composer Title when you will hear it Play Midi
Pachelbel Canon in D Finding your seats
Gounod Ave Maria Seating the Parents
Ludwig Van Tempo Minuetto Marching the Bride
Clarke Trumpets Voluntary Exposing the Newlyweds
